Suffering from a debilitating flu, before falling asleep, I said, “God, just let me die, I surrender.”
I dreamt I stood on a disk supported by a pole, a thousand feet in the sky. On another disk stood a shaman holding out his hand and said, “Do you think that I would let you die? Trust me.”
Upon touching his hand, we were down on the desert floor sitting in a circle of shaman men. One shaman held out a peace pipe to me. Had I invaded their Dreamtime?
He said, “Irene, you’re one of us.”
We smoked.
I awoke healed.
